Spring Clean Up
The date for our annual clean-up morning is planned for the third Saturday in June--June 15, 2024 from 8 am to 12 noon. Please check our website at evelinetownship.org for any changes or cancellations that may occur for this event.
The two drop off sites are:
* Ridge Road, behind Whiting Park, Boyne City, MI
* Charlevoix County Road Commission Garage, 11705 Shaw Rd, Charlevoix, MI

The following items will NOT be accepted:
* Any items containing freon without a certificate of removal
* Gas, oil, or anti-freeze
* Engine or mechanical parts containing gas, oil, or anti-freeze fluid
* Batteries
* Tires
* Yard waste, lawn clippings, tree branches or brush
* Any combustible items
* Any electronics, computers, printers, TV's, VCR's or radios, telephones, microwave ovens or other appliances and game systems.

We will NOT be accepting mattress or box springs at the Eveline Township Clean Up day as these items can be recycled. The Charlevoix County HHW event June 7 and June 8 will accept these items for recycling for a small fee.

Household Hazardous Waste recycling (HHW recycling) is done through the Charlevoix County Recycling Program. The planned dates for this year have been set for June 7 and 8. Contact the Charlevoix County Recycling at 231-547-0080 for questions and to schedule a time slot and location to drop off your hazardous waste, or you may go to https://www.charlevoixcounty.org/recycling/index.php to schedule a time slot. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Public Accuracy Test for the MAY 7,
2024 election has been scheduled for Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 9:00
a.m. in East Jordan City Hall at 201 Main Street, East Jordan, Michigan.
The Public Accuracy Test is conducted to demonstrate that the
computer program used to record the votes cast at the election meet
the requirements of law.
The City of East Jordan, Eveline Township, South Arm Township will all
be conducting their public accuracy test at this location during this
time.
